Sarr returns, Kulusevski decision made – Tottenham predicted team to face Nottingham Forest

The Tottenham squad that we believe Ange Postecoglou will choose when Nottingham Forest visits the city for their Premier League match is as follows.

If Tottenham Hotspur defeats Nottingham Forest on Sunday night, they will aim to move up into fourth position in the Premier League.

For the first time since his departure in 2021, Nuno Espirito Santo will return to Spurs. The Portuguese manager only held the position for a few months until Antonio Conte took over. Now, the former manager will be back at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, leading a Forest club that has won its last three games and is tough to beat for the majority of their opponents.

In their midweek derby against West Ham, Tottenham came away with a point, and Ange Postecoglou will be hoping that they can resume their winning ways on Sunday. With seven games remaining, a win would put them at 60 points, which is the same total they ended on the previous campaign. With a game remaining, a victory would put them back in fourth position on goal differential following Aston Villa’s 3–3 draw with Brentford at home.

Rodrigo Bentancur might be replaced by Pape Matar Sarr in the Spurs lineup, but Micky van de Ven is probably going to stay on the back line against Forest. It seems doubtful that Yves Bissouma will leave the club after Postecoglou praised his “outstanding” performance at the London Stadium.

Other crucial decisions will depend on whether Postecoglou remains with the front three of Brennan Johnson, Son Heung-min, and Timo Werner. The latter two combined for the first goal, but the assault as a whole struggled to find a way through after that.Due to a knee injury, Richarlison is not available, however Dejan Kulusevski could be able to rejoin the squad.

Guglielmo Vicario, goalie

In the last games of the season, the Italian will be looking to record some uncommon clean sheets.

During this final stretch, Tottenham would benefit from the Spaniard going back to his more inventive ways.

The Argentine acknowledged that he was a little jet-lagged the previous weekend, but he should be over it by now.

Spurs greatly benefit from his pace, which was one of the positives from the draw at West Ham.

The young Italian will be trying to make an impression this time around because he had the opportunity to win the game on Tuesday night.
