Marvin Harrison Jr’s preferred team made public ahead of NFL Draft

Marvin Harrison Jr.’s chosen team was revealed ahead of the NFL Draft.

Marvin Harrison Jr. is predicted to be one of the top choices in the 2024 NFL Draft, with the Arizona Cardinals among those likely to have interested in the Ohio State wide receiver.

Marvin Harrison Jr., a standout wide receiver at Ohio State, is reportedly targeting a certain NFL team in the draft.

The Los Angeles Chargers, Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants, and Tennessee Titans are all interested in Harrison Jr., but his old Ohio State teammate, offensive lineman Paris Johnson Jr., believes he wants to play for the Cardinals.

Johnson Jr. revealed that Harrison Jr. hopes to join him in Arizona. The Cardinals hold the fourth choice in the 2024 NFL Draft, and with the top three picks projected to be quarterbacks, Harrison Jr. might be the guy.

On the Cardinal Corner podcast, Johnson Jr. stated, “I literally went to Marvin and said, ‘You know you’re a Cardinal, right?'” I knew he was going to be a Cardinal after seeing what happened to DeAndre Hopkins.

“I think the Cardinals are going to want another six-four receiver. So I’m like, “Dude, I think you’re going to be a Cardinal.” “He said he wanted to be a Cardinal.”

The Cardinals need a talented wide receiver after losing DeAndre Hopkins and not re-signing Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown. Harrison Jr. is regarded as a great talent, having scored 28 touchdowns and gained 2,400 yards in just 25 games, demonstrating that he outperformed every opponent he faced in college football.

The Cardinals could want Harrison Jr., but they’re also considering selling the pick for future draft picks since they need to improve their club.

Teams have already expressed interest in the choice, and general manager Monti Ossenfort has stated that he is willing to trade it. He was quoted as saying: “There will be a big neon sign that says ‘open’ and I don’t like it blinking, it messes with my eyes, but we’re always going to be listening.”

“I think we’ll always have the conversation, we may not get to a point where a deal makes sense, whether it’s at 4 or anywhere we’re picking, but we’re always going to have the conversation and if it makes sense, if it’s attractive to building our team, then it’s something that we’ll certainly consider no matter where we’re at in the draft.”
