According to Mundo Deportivo, La Liga team Barcelona has entered the running to capture defender Murillo of Nottingham Forest during the summer transfer window. Before the upcoming season, the team believes he would be a good addition to their defensive ranks.

However, the player has generated interest from multiple clubs across Europe. Apart from the Spanish club, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the Brazilian. Hence, getting his signature won’t be that easy.

Murillo’s deal with Nottingham Forest was secured as a result of his remarkable tenure with Corinthians. The previous summer, he inked a five-year contract with the team. He has since become a reputable figure in the English league.
