Everton and Nottingham Forest both now eye ‘dazzling’ signing after sanctions

Everton and Nottingham Forest are both in the hunt to sign Brest attacker Karamoko Dembele, according to HITC.

The two teams facing Premier League point deductions are reportedly interested in the “devastating” 21-year-old following his stellar loan season at Blackpool this season, according to Graeme Bailey’s story on the outlet’s website on March 19.

They are not alone, though, as a number of Premier League and Championship clubs are keeping tabs on the adolescent, who was a “YouTube sensation” while still a teenager at Celtic. This season, he has scored six goals and assisted eleven more in League One, plus added a goal and an assist in the FA Cup with some “dazzling displays.”

The report speculates that a move may be imminent in the hopes that the offensive midfielder may “belatedly be about to take one big step towards fulfilling his potential,” with up to ten clubs reportedly expressing interest in him.

Although his future at Brest is uncertain, if a “sizeable cash fee” were offered, the French side would probably be inclined to cash in.

Blackpool loanee a viable transfer target for Sean Dyche at Everton?

The need for a sizable transfer fee may prevent Everton from making a play for Dembele unless the unanswered takeover question works out really well for them over the next few months.

Due to their four-point punishment, Forest has already been demoted to the bottom three. If they receive another one at Goodison Park on top of the six already taken away, relegation may once again be a serious threat.

With the release of the Forest ruling, predictions have indicated that Everton would be able to avoid a second fine entirely, although it is unclear how the commission hearing will proceed next week.

It doesn’t appear that the unrest at Goodison and the City Ground off the pitch has stopped them from evaluating possible summer targets.

Furthermore, based on the amount of interest in Dembele, it seems that many people think he might be a late-blooming star who is prepared to advance.

It is obvious that Sean Dyche’s team needs to add an alternative to Abdoulaye Doucouré, their only viable option in central attacking midfield. However, it would be a significant step up from the third division to the top division if this were to become a real option for the Toffees, who are unlikely to have the financial wherewithal to take a chance.
