Álvaro Valles, the goalkeeper for Las Palmas, is another name Nottingham Forest can add to their list of

candidates for the January transfer window deadline.

SER Las Palmas, cited by Marca, claims that Nottingham Forest made a €20 million proposal for the 26-

year-old.

As most people are aware, Nottingham Forest made multiple bids at the close of the January transfer

window in an attempt to find a last-minute replacement for Matt Turner and Odysséas Vlachodimos.

Neither appeared to have convinced Nuno Espirito Santo and so a new number one was sought out, with

the club eventually securing a deal for Matz Sels, signing him from Strasbourg for €8m.

However, a plethora of various names were connected to a move before he arrived, and in the weeks

following the window’s closure, multiple rumors have surfaced revealing other names they were

considering.

Now that SER is hosting Las Palmas president Miguel Ángel Ramírez, who disclosed that he “rejected an

offer of €20m in the month of January,” Valles can be added to that list.

He clarified that, prior to choosing to sign Sels, Nottingham Forest made an offer on deadline day and

the two parties were “negotiating” a deal.
