After a prior dispute with Philippe Clement, the bullish Neil Lennon has reiterated his assertions

that Rangers’ approach against Celtic will determine the outcome of the title fight.

Before the match, the Belgian had his team just a point behind Aberdeen in the Scottish

Premiership. If the Light Blues defeat Warnock’s team by three goals, they will take the top spot for

Speaking on The PLZ Football Show, Lennon also acknowledged that the impact of the Gers boss had impressed him. He didn’t waver, though, in his conviction that the Glasgow giants’ match would determine the winner.

“I agree that he has done an excellent job,” he remarked. I concur that Rangers still need improvement. Although they have been incredibly consistent, he wants to see progress in a few other aspects of the team.

“However, there remains one unanswered question: they lost at Celtic Park, and I thought their performance was lackluster. Although they were able to regain control of the game, it could have easily gone against them at that time.

However, he has performed admirably, taking home a trophy, leading his team to victory in the Europa League group and exhibiting remarkable consistency in the league. He has done an excellent job up to this point, piece by bit. The players will get a psychological boost from winning, but it will be interesting to watch how they respond.

When asked who would win the league, he responded, “Celtic. It’s going to be tight. It will most likely come down to the two games and the resulting psychological effects. Now, it’s up to the players.

“They need to perform a little bit better generally than they have been the past couple of games, which have consisted of one strong half and one mediocre half. They are able to accomplish it.”
