ARSENAL ADMIREN CITY LEICESTER KIERNAN DEWSBURY-HALL, MIDFIELDER

Journalist David Ornstein of The Athletic claims that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, a midfielder for Leicester City, has admirers from Arsenal.

But at the moment, Brighton & Hove Albion are the team that stands out as the top candidate for his services.

The 25-year-old is available for signing with the Seagulls, and Leicester needs to pay almost £30 million to allow Dewsbury-Hall to leave.

Despite wanting to expand their alternatives in the middle of the park, Arsenal is not in talks to sign the Englishman this month.

Due to Financial Fair Play (FFP) restrictions, they were unable to complete any significant business during the January transfer window. They anticipate ramping up their investment in the summer.

Should Dewsbury-Hall decide to join another team this month, the Gunners may make a serious play for him at the end of the campaign.

The Leicester star, who has made 27 Championship appearances this season and scored nine goals and provided nine assists, is also coveted by Brentford and Fulham.

Arsenal could use a midfielder with such a good eye for goal; in 31 Premier League games last season, he scored two goals and claimed two assists. However, it seems unlikely that they will be able to sign him, as he might be willing to stay with the Foxes if they receive immediate promotion back to the Premier League.

With seven points separating them from their nearest competitors, Leicester leads the Championship table after 28 games and is the clear favorite to win the standings.

Dewsbury-Hall, a midfielder from Leicester, may yet be enticed to sign with Arsenal because of the possibility of playing in the Champions League. The Gunners will continue to keep an eye on the issue and hope that no team signs him this month.
