Victor Osimhen opens up on Premier League dream amid links with Arsenal and Chelsea

Victor Osimhen has declared his desire to one day compete in the Premier League.

The Nigerian striker has been frequently mentioned in the press lately due to strong rumors that he may

be moving to England.

Chelsea and Arsenal have both been mentioned in connection with a move, although neither team is

anticipated to launch a serious bid this month.

The forward for Napoli has scored eight goals in 18 games this season, which is an amazing return after

he scored an incredible 31 goals in 39 games for the Serie A champion Italian team the previous season.

But while speculation continues to swirl, Osimhen has revealed that his close relationship with Napoli

president Aurelio De Laurentiis means that he’s keen to help them to the Scudetto once again.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Osimhen said: “I am happy with the president. I have a good relationship with

him. I cannot lie. He has been with me since I signed for the club in 2020.

“I have a good relationship with his family also and for me it is always important to make sure we have

this good relationship, to make sure there is nothing wrong regardless of what has happened.

“So for me, ADL (Aurelio De Laurentiis) has been the kind of president who has been supportive to me

outside the pitch and of course, I make sure I give my all and try to win the Scudetto for them.

“To be happy with the club owner is always important to me in a relationship of this kind.”

When asked whether he intended to play in the Premier League, Osimhen responded, “Of course one day,

Definitely, but for the time being, I am looking forward to other career ambitions that I have. Thus,

when the moment arrives, as everyone is aware.
