confirmed they had spoken with Belichick following rumors that he was interviewing aboard Arthur

Blank’s yacht in the Caribbean. This is a clever way of stating, “Bill really interviewed us.”

However, the NFL has several openings for head coaches, and Bill Belichick would be welcomed by every

franchise. Additionally, it’s possible that the Dallas Cowboys will want to employ Belichick instead of

Mike McCarthy because the latter has allegedly been close to Jerry Jones recently.

Additionally, combining them is a recipe for disaster.

and total disaster unless Jerry Jones and Bill Belichick are willing to make radical changes to the way

they manage their teams.

Of course, the Dallas Cowboys might just need to give up power to Belichick for a few seasons if Jerry

Jones is prepared to do so in order to make a Super Bowl run again. But Jerry Jones isn’t like that.

Perhaps more than any other NFL owner, he manages his team’s daily operations.
