Aston Villa presented signing opportunity ‘in recent days’ – Player ‘proposed’ to Unai Emery & Co
According to a report on Monday by LaRoma24.it, AS Roma’s Leonardo Spinazzola is attracting interest from a number of clubs, including Villa.
At the conclusion of this season, the left-back’s contract expires, and his agent Davide Lippi has already stated he would not sign an extension. He can go this month or become a free agent in the summer of 2020.
According to Calciomercato, the 30-year-old has a number of fans in Saudi Arabia, but he wants to stay in Europe, and he may choose to play for Aston Villa.
The Italy international ‘has been proposed’ to Unai Emery’s team in’recent days,’ according to reports.
The report further adds the Villans wouldn’t want to ‘pay a single euro’ to the Giallorossi, given the players situation.
Spinazzola spent seven years at Juventus between 2012 and 2019, when he was mostly out on loan.
TV Play condition Lippi has made his client available to the Turin club, with whom he has a great relationship.
Giovanni Manna, the sports director of Juventus, and Cristiano Giuntoli, the technical director, are concentrating on acquiring younger players. Spinazzola, 30, is therefore not thought to have the perfect profile.
The TV Play report makes no mention of Aston Villa. But if Juventus shuts the door, Emery’s side might have an easy route to a settlement.
