Analyst Is Confused By What Is Going Wrong For 1 NFC Team.

With so much skill on both sides of the ball and a sub-.500 record, the New Orleans Saints could be the most disappointing club in the league in the 2023 NFL season.

Although the Saints were the preseason favorites to win the NFC South, they are presently third in the division and are more likely to finish out of the playoffs.

New Orleans’ offensive has been among the most boring and predictable, even though they made a statement in the offseason when they signed Derek Carr.

The defense has done enough to keep the team in games, but offensively Carr doesn’t seem to have complete control of the system.

There isn’t one particular thing that seems to be an issue and Greg Olsen himself had trouble pinpointing where exactly the problem is via FOX.

“The worst part about this Saints team is figuring out exactly what the clear issue is,” Olsen said.

Olsen acknowledges that when evaluating the Saints’ offense play-by-play there isn’t anything being done wrong.

The former tight end continues, though, by observing the full game flow and noting any failures that result in drives stalling out.

Though they haven’t been mathematically eliminated, New Orleans’ hopes of making the postseason are dangling. However, they will have a formidable opponent in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 17, who will be trying to solidify their grasp on the division.

Perhaps New Orleans can sneak a win away from home if Carr can get the rest of his offense clicking.
