Rangers Transfer news as Attacker offered on plate for January already

The Daily Record reports that Wolves striker Fabio Silva has been offered to Rangers on a loan for the upcoming January transfer window.

The publication said that Celtic has also received an offer for the Portuguese phenomenon, who is expected to leave Molineux till the end of the season, in its print edition [26 December, page 42].

Both Old Firm teams have reportedly expressed interest, with Celtic expected to be busy trying to stop Brendan Rodgers’ team from losing, especially with Rangers playing so well at the moment.

If Rangers wanted to get their January window off to a cracking start, the door looks to be open for that to exactly happen for Philippe Clement.

The manager is probably familiar with Silva’s game because he watched him play when on loan at Anderlecht in Belgium a few years ago. Silva is 23 years old.

Silva’s interest in Clement is unknown, but with his Premier League experience and the seemingly low cost, it might be difficult to pass up Silva on loan.

Even though Cyriel Dessers has been playing better lately, Danilo and Kemar Roofe’s injuries mean that another option is definitely needed in the last third.

Though it’s no secret that Celtic is also a contender, this may be your first chance to outshine them as the Scottish Premiership title race heats up.

All eyes are still on the Old Firm match on December 30, but the fight won’t finish there, with less than a week until the winter window opens.
