Aston Villa prepare documents to sign England striker who scored twice this weekend

It has been claimed that Unai Emery intends to bring Villa Park’s Championship striker Jonathan Rowe next month.

This season, Aston Villa has surprised everyone by moving up to the unusual spot of third in the Premier League standings.

Emery’s team’s performance at home, where they own one of the greatest records in Europe with 15 wins in a row, has been a major factor in their success.

Their already potent attack has been further enhanced by the summer addition of Moussa Diaby, but the Spanish boss hopes to acquire another striker to push Ollie Watkins up top.

The team is reportedly interested in Norwich striker Jonathan Rowe, who has been on fire this season, according to sources from The Sun and TBR Football.

With ten goals in the league already, the 20-year-old has proven why Wolves made a rumored £15 million offer for him in the summer.

However, Norwich won’t want to let Rowe go in January because there could be a playoff spot up for grabs; moving next summer seems like the best option.
