In an effort to strengthen a certain section of the Spurs roster, Ange Postecoglou may consider making a move for a player earning £210,000 per week at one club.

In light of the squad Depth Dilemma, Spurs Turn to January.

The Lilywhites’ glaring lack of depth in the team has recently come to light, as many injuries and bans have reduced it to almost nothing.

After receiving red cards in the 4-1 loss to Chelsea two weeks ago, Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie were suspended; nevertheless, Postecoglou’s problems don’t end there.

A greater concern is the injuries sustained by James Maddison and Micky van de Ven, two of the team’s top summer additions, who are now predicted to remain sidelined until 2024.

Not very long ago, Spurs were leading the Premier League and undefeated. However, their defeat to Chelsea under Mauricio Pochettino turned the tide, and Postecoglou’s disparate experiences will now truly test him.

Tottenham face off against in-form Aston Villa at the weekend, while an even tougher encounter against league champions Man City awaits them soon afterwards.

While both van de Ven and Maddison will be back in January, the transfer window could represent an opportunity to strengthen in key positions for the second half of 2023/2024.

Postecoglou is apparently keen to sign a centre-back, as well as a new winger, given injuries to Manor Solomon, Ivan Perisic and Richarlison.

The Spurs may “explore” a Raphinha Move.

As a result, the north Londoners have been connected to Al-Ittihad winger Jota. Barcelona star Raphinha is another player who might be considered.

According to certain rumors, Tottenham is interested in signing the Brazilian, who is expected to quit Xavi’s team next year.

Journalist Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider claims that Tottenham may “explore a move” for Raphinha if the proper price is offered.

On a £210,000-per-week wage, as per this report, the former Leeds star has made nine La Liga appearances this season, scoring two goals and adding an assist to boot.

Raphinha has also demonstrated her mettle in the Premier League, shining at Elland Road, so this move may be intriguing.

It is unclear, though, as some estimates state that the South American might cost as much as £61 million.if Johan Lange, the sporting director, will be able to

spend that much money on a wide player, particularly considering Spurs’ intention to sign a new defense.

Raphinha’s skill is undeniable, though, as former Leeds striker Noel Whelan described him as a “magic” player.
