Adam Idah’s Brilliant Wednesday Night Post Following Atlanta Draw

Celtic striker Adam Idah certainly played his part against Atalanta, holding the ball up and tracking back defensively when needed.

For 68 minutes, the Irishman worked hard.

Although Idah was not at his prolific goal-scoring best, this was due to the nature of the game more than his lack of clinical finishing.

Celtic failed to produce a handful of clear-cut chances, so they defended for their lives, with the Irish striker contributing to Celtic’s successful night in the Champions League.

Idah emphasizes that the point prepares the Hoops for two big nights against RB Leipzig and Club Brugge in the following two Champions League games, both at Celtic Park.

The future seems bright for Idah and Celtic, with the Irishman expected to play a significant role in the next five Champions League games.

Idah has been patient in a big game; to begin with, he was able to keep the ball when Celtic were under pressure, with Kasper Schmeichel seeking to locate him higher up the pitch in a minor tactical change from Brendan Rodgers, who had his tactics dead on on the night.
