Ipswich Liam Delap is the new bride for most premier league clubs

Liam Delap, a striker for Ipswich Town, is attracting interest from a number of Premier League teams as January draws near.

A number of Premier League teams may explore a deal for Liam Delap before the January transfer market opens, according to Caught Offside. After a fantastic start to the season, the Ipswich Town attacker has established himself among Arsenal, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and his former team, Manchester City.

Ipswich Town paid more than €17 million for Liam Delap in the summer, as Kieran McKenna made a significant investment in the attacker. After the striker adapted to the Premier League and scored four goals in his first eight games, the decision appears to be the right one.

Ipswich Town needs to hold onto all of their key players before the January transfer market opens if they are to remain in the Premier League for a long time. These are tough times for the Tractor Boys and McKenna, though, as Delap’s recent play has drawn interest from several elite teams before the winter transfer window.

Chelsea expressed interest, and other teams are indicating that they would approach in January. A number of teams are interested in re-signing the forward, including Manchester City, who sold him to Ipswich Town in the summer.

The story claims that Ipswich rate him at roughly €40 million, and a sale at that price would represent tremendous business in a short period. Arsenal are also in the mix, as they are keen to buy a new striker at some stage in the future, while Aston Villa could consider Delap a substantial addition to their ambitions.

Tottenham considered the front-runners for Delap

Tottenham is eager to sign Delap, and his performances have raised the possibility that he is ready for a major league team. The striker, who is valued at €40 million, could perhaps replace Richarlison, who is ineffectual, and give players like record-breaking Dominic Solanke plenty of competition.

In any case, if the forward decides to leave Ipswich Town, he will have a lot of offers to choose from. It would be a huge loss to lose their center striker in January, though, given McKenna’s team is already in the running for relegation in the Premier League, and only a high price would justify the choice to trade him.
