Man City ‘willing to sell’ stalwart for just £15m as boyhood club learn chances of spectacular return

Manchester City are reportedly willing to let Kyle Walker go for £15 million in the summer, and Sheffield United have learned whether they can sign him.

Walker, who joined City from Tottenham in 2017, has made 308 appearances for them. He has since won six Premier League titles and a Champions League, among other awards.
Even though he is captain, he has only started three Premier League games this season. According to the Daily Star, City is not planning to extend his contract, which expires in 2026.

In fact, reports suggest that the Citizens intend to go a step further and release Walker for a small fee. With only one year left on his contract by the summer, it’s reported City are happy to sell him for under £15 million, guaranteeing that at least some money is recouped.

According to the report, the figure would be ideal for both City and interested Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli. However, Sheffield United may face difficulties if Walker returns to his boyhood club, as Al-Ahli offers him a lucrative £400,000 per week, which is more than the Blades could afford and nearly doubles his current salary at City.
