Nuno Espirito Santo and Morgan Gibbs-White have both been slapped with bans and fines after admitting an FA
charge in the wake of their stormy 2-2 draw at The Amex Stadium at the end of last month.

The Nottingham Forest boss has received a three-game touchline ban, two for his red card against the Seagulls which

in turn activated a one-match suspended ban after comments made in the wake of the 2-0 loss at Everton last

season. Nuno has also been fined £55,000. “It was alleged that the Nottingham Forest head coach acted in an improper manner and/or used abusive and/or

insulting words towards a match official. The Nottingham Forest midfielder allegedly acted in an improper manner

and/or used abusive and/or insulting words towards the fourth official after being sent off. It was alleged that the

Brighton & Hove Albion manager acted in an improper manner.

“Nuno Espirito Santo, Morgan Gibbs-White and Fabian Hurzeler admitted to their respective charges. The

independent Regulatory Commission imposed a two-match touchline suspension and £55,000 fine on the

Nottingham Forest head coach, which activated a further one-match touchline ban that had been suspended, as well

as a one-match suspension and £20,000 fine on the Nottingham Forest midfielder. The Brighton & Hove Albion

manager was fined £8,000 after accepting the standard penalty.
