It is said that for the majority of that time, they had little to no access to food, water, or communications. Fortunately, earlier this week saw Ndidi of Leicester and his compatriots return to their respective homes.

Ndidi will undoubtedly have suffered as a result of everything. Cooper did, however, reveal that the 27-year-old is doing well and has already resumed training. That speaks volumes about the latter’s dedication and integrity.

However, will Ndidi be able to play in the game at St. Mary’s Stadium? According to Cooper, his player is prepared for Saturday. Nonetheless, while discussing “what happens in the international break and how that affects selection,” the former Nottingham Forest manager did make a suggestion about alternative possibilities.
