Dusan Tadic, an offensive midfielder for Fenerbahce, told the Turkish media that coaching a team he has played for would be an honour.

He thinks it would be unique to lead a side he has represented, and even though he is unsure of what the future may bring, it is obvious that he is planning for management.

“I want to be a coach in the future, but I can play at the best level for a few more years. Playing for Southampton, Fenerbahce, and Ajax was my previous team. Being a coach and representing the team you play for is a very unique experience. We’ll have to wait and see,” the Serbian remarked.

The Serbian international joined Southampton from Twente in 2014 and played for the English club for more than 150 matches. Due to his success with the Saints, he was traded to Ajax, where he played for five seasons.

Tadic is currently working under Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahce and has been with the Super Lig side since 2023.
