Micah Parsons Calls Cowboys Playoff Exit ‘Completely Embarrassing’

Micah Parsons Calls Cowboys Playoff Exit ‘Completely Embarrassing’.

Micah Parsons, a Dallas Cowboys player, had a fantastic season and was recently named a finalist for NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

However, neither Parsons nor his Dallas Cowboys colleagues will remember the season this way. The Dallas Cowboys’ 2023 season will be defined by their playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The Dallas Cowboys were widely favored over the Green Bay Packers. However, the Packers jumped out to a 28-0 road lead and cruised to a 48-32 victory in the NFC Wild Card Round. For the third straight season, the Dallas Cowboys’ 12-5 record was in vain.

That is getting old for everyone involved with the Dallas Cowboys, who have not progressed to the NFC Championship Game since 1996. Add Micah Parsons to the group.

According to CBS Sports,

Micah Parsons shared this on his podcast, The Edge With Micah Parsons.

It’s that you [the Cowboys] lose the way you do, especially at home,” Parsons stated on his “The Edge with Micah Parsons” podcast on Wednesday. “We had talked about how much [better] we had played at home, how important it was for us to be there, and then to leave like way at home was absolutely embarrassing and unacceptable. I couldn’t even look at that loss or feel anything because I was so embarrassed. It took me a while to display my face in public. I disappeared entirely.

Parsons disappeared in that game as well, as the early deficit made it difficult for him to take on Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love. He recorded only two tackles and no sacks.

That should not overshadow his outstanding regular season. Parsons had 14 sacks, led the league in pressures, and added 20 tackles for loss. Parsons, who is entering his fourth year and has yet to turn 25, is poised for a massive, maybe record-breaking payout sooner rather than later.

However, I am sure winning the Super Bowl for the Dallas Cowboys is his top priority.
