The Met Office has forecast a cold start to December, with snow and disturbed weather in parts of the UK.
According to its long-range prognosis for December 1-10, “A cold and frosty morning is expected on Tuesday, with some patchy freezing fog in spots that may take some time to disperse.
“Clouds will grow from the west, followed by rain in the west. This may fall as snow at first in Scotland and the Highlands. While the majority of the UK is likely to have rain and breezy conditions, snow is still possible in the north, particularly on higher ground.
While the Met Office did not specify which areas will be affected by snow, weather maps from WX Charts show that portions of the UK might see up to 60 hours of snowfall.
