According To SkySport News. Friedkin Group consider ‘great’ manager for AS Roma who they wanted to replace Sean Dyche at Everton
The Friedkin Group has yet to formally take over Everton, but it hasn’t stopped the rumors.
Sean Dyche’s future was a hot subject early in the season following a poor first four games of the Premier League season, but things have since turned around.
Everton’s five-game undefeated record in the Premier League has silenced detractors and reduced managerial speculation.
Dyche’s only current difficulties are with a handful of his players.
Beto was advised to work harder at Everton, which elicited an emotional response after he scored against Fulham over the weekend.
Dyche is not a fan of Jake O’Brien, despite his popularity among supporters and impressive performance against James Tarkowski.
However, it appears that the Friedkin Group is considering a management change, but not at Everton.
Friedkin Group considers employing Maurizio Sarri as a potential future AS Roma coach.
Maurizio Sarri is a well-known manager who has previously been linked to Everton.
The Friedkin Group reportedly wanted Maurizio Sarri to replace Sean Dyche at Everton, although this has since faded.
Now, it appears that AS Roma’s owners are considering him for a post in Italy, as Ivan Juric continues to face criticism following a 5-1 defeat at the weekend.
Roma is contemplating recruiting Maurizio Sarri, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via AS Roma Press).
According to reports, Ivan Juric’s tenure at Roma has come to an end, and the Giallorossi will fire him within the next few hours.
Sarri has been added to a list of applicants that Roma is now considering.
The managers have already connected with the Everton job.
Interestingly, Jose Mourinho has previously been linked to the Everton position, considering his tenure at AS Roma under the Friedkin Group.
Mourinho’s time in Italy ended on a negative note, making it unlikely he would want to take the Everton position.
Everton were under pressure at the start of the season, and Graham Potter and David Moyes were mentioned as potential candidates.
The prevailing assumption around Everton is that Dyche will be granted time, and the Friedkin Group will evaluate their alternatives once in power, which may be a simple decision considering the club’s recent success.
