Sheffield Wednesday boss bemoans ‘never-ending story’ despite defensive improvements
There is something to be said for the Owls’ defensive performance in recent games, including this one, even though some would naturally concentrate on the lack of goals scored in their rather bland encounter against Swansea City on Tuesday night, which ended in a 0-0 tie at Hillsborough.
Röhl is pleased to see Wednesday doing the fundamentals well in that area of their game, saying, “We are very compact, we work with each other, we are connected and work hard. When Wednesday makes the lengthy journey down to Fratton Park tomorrow evening, they will face yet another obstacle.
