City fans are organising a massive show of love and support for Liam and his family this Saturday.

In order to make the visual homage happen before this Saturday’s televised match against Leeds United, thousands of pounds have

been given. The people behind the appeal have promised to donate any extra money to a charity of the Manning family’s choosing.

Saturday’s home game, the first at Ashton Gate since the club announced the tragic death of Liam’s newborn son Theo.

In order to make the visual homage happen before this Saturday’s televised match against Leeds United, thousands of pounds have

been given. The people behind the appeal have promised to donate any extra money to a charity of the Manning family’s choosing.

In order to give Liam Manning compassionate leave to spend time with his wife Fran and son Isaac, his best friend and assistant head

Chris Hogg took over first team responsibilities. On Saturday, Hogg guided the club to a heartfelt 2-0 victory away at Middlesbrough.

The players gathered behind one of the large banners that said “Fly High Theo,” which the away fans had unfurled, and headed to the

area where the City supporters were after the game. They

entire stadium to unite before Saturday’s 12.30 p.m. kickoff against Leeds.

A spokeswoman for Section 82 stated, “We encourage all fans present to join us for a moving performance in remembrance of the

Manning family and their loved ones in the wake of this week’s devastating news of the unthinkable death of their newborn son,

Theo.”

“In this time of profound grief, we want to show our love, support and solidarity. Therefore our aim is to create a visual tribute that

captures the outpouring of love and condolence shared by City fans, and indeed the entire football community, in support of the

Manning family during this unthinkably difficult time,” they added.

The goal of £5,000 has already been nearly reached, and any more funds will be donated to the Manning family’s preferred charity.
