Preston North End return to Championship action at Deepdale tonight, hosting Norwich City.

The Lilywhites are aiming to win successive league games for the first time under manager Paul Heckingbottom, who has 12 points from eight games in charge.North End defeated Coventry City in their previous match and will now play the Canaries, who are now sixth.

Regarding the visitors, PNE’s manager stated, “I think they are a solid group, and how they play has grown. You can now see the manager’s fingerprints on their performances, since they have changed dramatically in the last five or six games compared to the first three or four.

“I can confidently say that since I’ve seen a lot of their games. They’ve improved significantly both with and without the ball, and those performances aren’t flukes; they’ve been fantastic value. It should be an enjoyable game.”
