Former Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski discusses future Pittodrie return – and why he is backing the Dons to beat Celtic this weekend.

North Macedonia international transferred from the Dons to Girona in August. Bojan Miovski, a former Aberdeen striker, has refused to rule out a return to Pittodrie, believing the Dons can overcome Celtic this weekend. The North Macedonia international went from the Dons to Girona earlier this season, but he still keeps a close eye on his former squad. In an interview with the Scottish Daily Mail, Miovski stated that he is open to returning to Pittodrie later in his career.

He explained, “In football, you never know. “My career will undoubtedly be long, and everything is possible, but what I experienced there is definitely something I want to repeat. “Aberdeen transformed my life. The way the players and supporters received me was incredible. “I felt quite delighted from the first day, and that was the key to my success at the club. “I’ve never felt more supported on and off the pitch, and how they greeted me in public was fantastic.

“I genuinely cherished every moment at the club. “I will always be grateful to the club, they gave me the opportunity to make my dream come true.”

Dons should travel to Celtic Park with confidence.

Aberdeen travel to Celtic Park on Saturday after a flawless start to the season, with 13 wins from 13 games in all competitions. Miovski feels the Dons can win 14 games in a row, which would be a significant statement. He stated, “Celtic will be a difficult game, of course. “Playing away at Celtic Park is usually difficult for any opponent, but Aberdeen are currently in excellent form, so everything is conceivable.

“It is possible to win. If they do, I will be overjoyed, and I have complete faith in them.” When asked about the possibility of Aberdeen winning the title, Miovski believes it would be incorrect to rule out the Reds if they can maintain their current momentum. He went further: “The season is so very long but, if they continue in this way until now, why not?”
