Birmingham City dealt big blow ahead of Lincoln City test amid update on £15m star
Jay Stansfield is anticipated to miss Birmingham City’s matchup with Lincoln City this weekend due to an injury, according to manager Chris Davies.
When Birmingham City and Fulham reached an agreement to bring former loan favourite Stansfield back to the team, it created a major impression during the summer transfer window.
After an alleged initial cost of £15 million, he has only managed three goals and one assist in five League One contests. It was hoped that he would add to that total this coming Saturday when he played Lincoln City.

It appears that Birmingham City will have to make due without Stansfield going forward.

He stated, “He’s not likely to play this weekend after receiving a knock for the England U21 team.”
