Stadium suspension for Atletico Madrid was lowered on appeal following the throwing of lighters at Thibaut Courtois.

The Appeals Committee lowered the charge levied by the RFEF to €3k and the ban to just one match. Los Colchoneros had been scheduled to have that portion of the Fondo Sur closed for three games in addition to a fine of €45k. Although the Anti-Violence Committee’s case is still pending, they have requested a five-match stadium suspension, but nothing has been decided as of yet.
