Khama Billiat: I was ready to take salary cut at Chiefs, but the pressure was too much, I had to run for my life
“I feel like it was time for me to move back home. They wanted me to stay, but I don’t think I was mentally strong to take another season again, with all the injuries I was getting, all the pressure I was getting. It was frustrating,” Billiat explained to MhlengiSports YouTube Channel.
“I didn’t mind the salary cut, I appreciate. I would have stayed, but I just felt like it was too much for me to take, there was a lot going on.”
