Callum Hudson-Odoi says £40,000-a-week Nottingham Forest star gets the whole team pumped before a game

Nottingham Forest appear to have turned a sizeable corner this season and in Callum Hudson-Odoi the club has a player who should only improve.

Hudson-Odoi has had quite the trip, and despite the fact that he is only 23, he has already accomplished a great deal in his career.
Prior to joining Forest, Hudson-Odoi won the Champions League with Chelsea and had previously been linked with a big-money move to Bayern Munich.

Forest paid an amazing £5 million for Hudson-Odoi, while Chelsea chose to cut their losses on a player who hasn’t been the same since suffering a catastrophic Achilles injury.

Hudson-Odoi worked closely with Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea, so the news of his England job may be exciting for the winger this week.

Forest defeated Liverpool in September, and after scoring the goal, Hudson-Odoi acknowledged he had upset his father, who loves Liverpool.

The team spirit on Trentside is currently quite high, and Hudson-Odoi is a positive component of that under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Callum Hudson-Odoi shares who pumps up Nottingham Forest before games

Ahead of the Premier League’s return, the league released a video featuring a number of players answering a variety of topics.
Several Forest players starred in the film, which aired on the Premier League’s official YouTube page, with Hudson-Odoi answering one of the questions.

The winger chose ‘Which player pumps up the team the most before games’, to which Hudson-Odoi responded, “Ola Aina.”

Aina joined Forest on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, despite interest from Leeds, and has shown to be a valuable asset.

The defender earns £40,000 per week at Forest, and there is speculation that Aina’s contract could be extended at the City Ground in the coming months.

Aina can also lead by example in Forest leadership group

If you produced a list of future Forest leaders, the 28-year-old would not be one of the first names that came to mind.

Morgan Gibbs-White, Ryan Yates, Nikola Milenkovic, and Chris Wood would be the top players to consider, with Hudson-Odoi maybe among them.

Aina appears to be making good use of his experience. He’s had a successful career so far, having played in two nations, which has definitely served him well.
