Birmingham City supporters believe a new goalkeeper should be the club’s priority when the January transfer window opens.

A whopping 65 percent of supporters surveyed by BirminghamLive believe a new glovesman should be on Blues’ transfer wish-list. The club signed two new goalkeepers during the summer transfer window in the form of Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Ryan Allsop.

Northern Ireland international Peacock-Farrell started the season as first choice but a collection of errors led to Chris Davies making a change recently. Allsop has started Blues’ last three games in league and cup, keeping two clean sheets in the process.

But the position is still in need of attention according to fans. Sixteen percent of supporters believe the defence requires attention more urgently, while 10 percent want to see Blues strengthen out wide. Unsurprisingly, very few people believe Blues’ midfield and striking departments need immediate reinforcements.
