Jobe Bellingham teases Sunderland “advantage” over Leeds United as focus turns to Friday

Leeds United and Norwich City drew on Tuesday night, but with Friday’s trip to Sunderland approaching, there isn’t much time to lament any lost ground.

The Whites’ October schedule of games will give them enough of opportunities to prove themselves if they want to win the Championship once more this year.

They will play Sunderland next, who are currently atop the table following a strong start to the season under Regis Le Bris, following their draw against Norwich City.

Sunderland defeats Derby at home to maintain their excellent run ahead of their trip to Leeds.

A new setup at the Stadium of Light is bearing fruit at present with Regis Le Bris’ high intensity helping Sunderland enjoy a brilliant start to the Championship season.

With eight games played thus far, they have six wins and two losses to their name, top of the table and looking to cement themselves as one of the title chasers.

Their latest win came at home against newly-promoted Derby County, a 2-0 victory thanks to a Jobe Bellingham screamer and Wilson Isidor from close range:

Attention turns swiftly for both Leeds and Sunderland to this Friday’s meeting at the Stadium of Light, where Jobe is under no impressions that it’s a very tough test awaiting his side.
