Huddersfield Town boss left frustrated with Reading defeat despite ‘dominating’ Reading.

Even though Huddersfield Town “dominated,” the manager was not thrilled with the result.

Despite their recent three losses, the Terriers are still among the top 10 in League One following an excellent start to the season.

Harvey Knibbs and Ben Elliott goals stopped Reading’s two-game losing streak at the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Saturday,

butDuff’s squad fell in spite of an early lead from Matt Pearson.

After the game, an irate Duff said he thought his team had “shot themselves in the foot” and done enough to win.

The legendary Burnley player commented, “I thought we dominated the game for large parts but found a way of losing it.””We were

completely in control of the first half, but we gave them a goal by attempting to pass inside our 18-yard box. it’s not it; there are times

and places for it. They only managed one shot on goal during the first half.

“We didn’t play as well for the first fifteen to twenty minutes of the second half, but we completely controlled the final thirty minutes

of the match.

“It was a far better performance all around and sufficient to win the match. We had maybe 13 corners and 20 shots from beyond the

area, so it’s aggravating that we can shoot ourselves in the foot.”

In an attempt to build on their triumph on Saturday, Reading will welcome winless Burton Albion on Tuesday.
