BBC NEWS; Strong, Stepovers: Former Sunderland Player Picks Watford Star Who Made a Real Impact.

Former Sunderland player Danny Collins has stated that Watford star Kwadwo Baah handled the ball well when torturing Sunderland with his stepovers over the weekend.

Last season, the 21-year-old winger spent the first part of the season with Burton Albion and impressed many, but this season, Baah is struggled to establish himself in Watford’s starting lineup.

Baah came in as a substitute against Sunderland in the second half with the score at 1-1 and won Watford a penalty, allowing them to win 2-1.

Collins was thrilled with Baah’s performance against Sunderland, claiming that the winger was the best of all Tom Cleverly’s replacements on Saturday.

The former Championship great also commended Baah for his powerful performance and stepovers, which disrupted the Sunderland defenders, and said the kid looked after the ball extremely well.

“They made changes top end; Tom Ince came on as well, but I thought Baah for them was the brightest,” Collins told Sunderland TV.

Baah has made five appearances for Watford this season, all off the bench, and he is desperate to establish himself as a regular starter.
