NFL: Miami Dolphins vs. Dallas Cowboys Preview

One of the most eagerly awaited games of the NFL season for both clubs is the Miami Dolphins vs. Dallas Cowboys game. If you actually think about it, the seasons in Miami and Dallas have been comparable.

They have occasionally performed incredibly well, but they have also lost to opponents they could have easily defeated and both teams have been the subject of some dubious comments in the media.

I’ll give a brief summary of the game in this post and then my prediction for who will win.

You have probably heard about the Miami offense’s explosiveness if you’ve watched any NFL football this year.

That was during the first half of the season; since Jalen Ramsey’s return, Miami’s defense is currently ranked among the top 5 in all defensive metrics.

In my opinion, as the season wears on, I would prefer for my defense to exert more pressure than my offense.Miami is managing to win games despite having injuries on both sides of the ball.

Aside from that breakdown in the last moments of the Titans game, the defense has been playing exceptionally well and will only get better as the weeks pass.

Dallas is sitting at 10-4 on the year and are still looking to take control of the NFC. With the Eagles losing 3 in a row, Dallas has a chance to sneak into the 2 seed if Philly continues this skid.

A win against Miami would most certainly help them in that aspect. These teams are very evenly matched on both sides of the ball. They have playmakers all over the field that can change the game with one play.

Dak will have to play against one of the toughest secondary’s in the NFL, I expect them to try and get Pollard a lot of work receiving out the backfield.

Jalen Ramsey against Ceedee Lamb and Micah Parsons against the whole Miami O-Line are the matchups to watch. Parsons is one of the NFL’s top pass rushers and has the capacity to ruin a game at any time.

It might be a very long game for Miami if they do not take him into account at all, given that they are without four starting offensive linemen.

An intriguing statistic shows that Miami does not win games when Tua is sacked more than three times in a game. Despite being sacked four times in the Jets game last week, Miami prevailed by a score of thirty. Miami should have success passing the ball if they can keep Parsons at bay.

Dolphins vs. Cowboys Pick

I’m really trying not to be biased in favor of my team, but there is a chance that Miami wins this one with the way their defense is going, Tyreek probably playing this week, and Miami’s home field advantage.

The game will be quite close. Although I’m not sure how this game will end, my best estimate would be Miami 28–24. Throughout the entire game, both sides will trade blows and commit turnovers. However, I believe Miami takes advantage of their opportunities in the rezone and wins the turnover fight.
