Kellyman was successful in persuading Unai Emery to incorporate him in the first squad this season and on their tour of the United States earlier in the summer.

Even though he started for Villa for the first time in the Europa Conference League qualifying in June and helped Leon Bailey that evening, his involvement in the competition was limited.

Due to his short tenure at Villa, he was not included in the squad for the group stage as an academy graduate.

The 18-year-old has been praised and awarded for his talent when he has made appearances in the first squad. He also played in the September Carabao Cup match against Everton.

Kellyman was praised as a “absolute dream” to work with by Derby’s Josh Butler, a recruitment manager, and in November, Villa awarded him a new, long-term contract in recognition of his brilliance.

Despite the fact that a hamstring injury has impeded his growth and will prevent him from playing next season, there is no question that he will get more chances to impress Emery in the future.
