Matthew Stafford Preaches Focus Ahead of Thursday Night Football vs. Saints
Matthew Stafford, the quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams, says that preparation is the key ahead of Thursday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
The Los Angeles Rams have won three of their last four games and are back to 500 for the first time since September. This is an amazing turnaround for the team.
The sole setback throughout that span came from an overtime surprise loss to the Ravens, who are currently 11-3.
The Rams, who are currently eighth in the NFC rankings and have a crucial Thursday Night Football game against the New Orleans Saints, are back in the running for the playoffs as a result of that run of success.
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford made it apparent that nobody on the club is happy in spite of this.
To be honest with you, I don’t think anyone is happy right now. You’re not in the right area if you are, Stafford stated on Tuesday. The remainder of the season offers plenty of opportunities, but we must play each game as it comes. We are aware of that. I do believe that coach has done a fantastic job of maintaining everyone’s focus from week to week.”
That focus will be extremely important this week in particular, with the Rams having a short week to prepare for the Saints.
It’s never simple to prepare for an opponent with just four days to spare, after all. However, the Saints are one of the teams that Los Angeles is competing with for a Wild Card spot.
Not to mention that they have an extremely narrow margin of error against any opponent.
“When you have a Thursday game, it’s actually a lot easier to do at times, right? You’re incorrect if you’re wasting time thinking about anything else, according to Stafford. “You’re not preparing yourself. It’s wonderful that all of our guys are committed. It’s our desired location.
The Rams and Saints will kick off from SoFi Stadium at 5:15 PT.
