Punter will win £37,000 if Raphael Varane scores vs Liverpool, it’s the most insane 4-fold bet ever

If Raphael Varane scores for Manchester United versus Liverpool in Sunday’s Premier League match, a wagerer will win £37,306.50 with a £1 wager.

With forty minutes remaining before kickoff at Anfield, user @JoshGI97 on X shared his incredible four-fold wager that included Raphael Varane, Ollie Watkins, Gabriel Jesus, and Mohammed Kudos.

To kick things off, the punter correctly predicted Jesus would score a header for league leaders Arsenal in their home game against Brighton at 16/1.

Mikel Arteta’s side would eventually extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to a point as Kai Havertz made it 2-0 late on.

As well as Jesus’ goal, Josh predicted West Ham midfielder Kudos would score from outside the box against Wolves – a 17/2 shot that pulled through as David Moyes’ side recorded a convincing 3-0 win.

It doesn’t stop there, either. Josh clearly thought the in-form Ollie Watkins would score with his head in Aston Villa’s clash with Brentford – and he did exactly that in the 85th minute.

But can he go all the way? To his credit, the punter has managed to forecast three scenarios but now he must wait nervously as Liverpool take on Manchester United at Anfield. Will he do it?

Here’s how social media reacted to the bet.

One fan said: “Imagine you cash out in the 85th minute because you don’t want to lose any money and Varane scored a last minute winner,” while another commented: “Varane is not even getting a shot on target. Cashout ASAP.”

A third wrote: “Class effort regardless. Weirdly feel positive about the chances of this coming in. Good luck.”

“That cash out is abysmal.. shocking offer that,” a fourth person commented. One person said, “I hope he scores just so you can rinse the bookies,” and another said, “Although I’m a Liverpool fan, I’m going to be happy for you if he scores against us for real.”

Josh probably sighed with relief before kickoff when United manager Erik ten Hag selected defender Raphael Varane in his starting lineup, even though the player hadn’t played much for the first squad lately.
