Cris Collinsworth reveals which NFL team he believes is ‘dangerous’

NBC’s Cris Collinsworth was thrilled by the Dallas Cowboys’ 33-13 thrashing of the Philadelphia Eagles during Week 14’s “Sunday Night Football.”

Towards the end of Dallas’ thrilling victory at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Collinsworth spoke with NBC play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico about his main concern going into the game: was the Cowboys’ current 4-game winning streak genuine? Collinsworth seems to now believe it to be quite real. He went so far as to call the Cowboys a “dangerous” squad.

“You understand what my enquiry was when I came here,” Collinsworth remarked to Tirico. Is this thing for real?

“If the past month’s events are any indication, the Dallas Cowboys are a very dangerous team.” Not only for their offensive play, but also for their defensive play, which involves turning the ball over.

Collinsworth stated, “Give me the teams that are good on offence and defence, and great expectations tend to follow.”

Even though both the Cowboys and Philadelphia had 10-3 records, their victory over the division foe Eagles moved them to the top of the NFC East. San Francisco is the squad that they may both need to be concerned about. The 49ers defeated the Eagles by 23 points and the Dallas club by 32 points, respectively.

Collinsworth’s argument is still valid. The Cowboys appear to be a dangerous team.
