AC Milan are Targeting a January move for Everton’s Beto.

The Italian powerhouses have reportedly been keeping an eye on the striker for some time, according to Fanta Master.

At the summer, Everton acquired Beto from Udinese for £25.75 million, and he appeared to be a very solid addition.

The forward netted 10 goals in Serie A last season, while his debut goal in

the Carabao Cup win over Doncaster Rovers put on a very good first impression.

Beto forced his way into the starting line-up for a run of games, before Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s return from injury sent him back to the bench.

The Portuguese attacker has picked up only 80 minutes of game time since he was dropped and is yet to get off the mark in the Premier League.

Beto’s career at Goodison Park certainly hasn’t got off the way anyone had hoped, but it now looks like he may not even

be around long enough to resolve the problem.

The 25-year-old has already briefly been linked with Juventus, but it is now AC Milan that are considering a loan move for him in the January transfer window.

However, the report claims there hasn’t been any contact between the two clubs yet, with AC Milan tipped to be ‘vigilant’ towards the situation.

Should Everton send Beto out on loan?

Beto has endured a very tough start to life on Merseyside, though that is partly down to Dominic Calvert-Lewin‘s improved form.

However, it is way too early to be questioning the transfer and there is still plenty of opportunity for him to kickstart his career.

The Toffees have a very busy winter period coming up, while we all know how injury-prone Calvert-Lewin is.

The 26-year-old is said to be currently training ‘away from the main group’, which could already potentially signal something is wrong.

Calvert-Lewin’s absence would pave the way for Beto to come and prove himself, while Everton would be left very light up top if they were to allow him to leave for the second half of the campaign.

If he doesn’t get any playing time, Beto might think about his future in the summer. However, a lot will depend on Everton’s financial condition.

Burnley, Leicester, and Leeds United have filed a £300 million lawsuit against Sean Dyche’s team.

If this happens, the team may have to sell players to cover some of the debt. However, it is not necessary to plan that far ahead at this time.
