Micky van de Ven, a defender for Tottenham Hotspur, has received a lot of praise from former Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.

In the summer, Van van Ven moved from VFL Wolfsburg to Spurs for a fee of £43 million (€50 million), including add-ons (Athletic).

Under Ange Postecoglou’s new lineup, he became an instant star.

In a recent cryptic social media post, the defender intimated that he is already putting in a lot of effort to

get back to full health as soon as possible. The 22-year-old shared a picture of himself with the sandclock emoji on Instagram stories.

Due to the fact that Eric Dier, his successor, cannot possibly traverse the same distance at the same pace as him, his injury

has now put a wrench in the works.

The Dutch international’s ability to sprint may be hampered by a hamstring injury, but at just 22 years old, Van de Ven
