West Ham Manager, David Moyes is ‘expected to leave’ at end of season.
The Daily Mail reports that David Moyes would likely step down as West Ham’s manager
in the summer. Moyes is under contract with the Hammers through the end of the
current campaign, and there isn’t yet a fresh offer pending to keep him at the London Stadium.
Moyes was supposed to be replaced in his position in the summer, but
he managed to hang on after securing the club’s first European
trophy since 1965 by keeping West Ham in the Premier League and
winning the Europa Conference League.
Nevertheless, even if the Hammers are ahead of Chelsea and only nine
points behind of the top four, recent inconsistent play has led some of
the team’s previously irate supporters to demand a managerial change once more.
Although the 60-year-old has defended his role at the team in the
past, Moyes’ contract is set to expire in the summer, and a
new manager is now anticipated to take over.
