West Ham United is eager to sign a free midfielder in the Premier League for the
upcoming summer, but we have suffered a significant setback.
The prospect of signing a proven Premier League player for free would
undoubtedly appeal to David Moyes, who has a lot of work ahead of him with his present West Ham group.
The manager of the Hammers recently acknowledged that there is now a
lack of funding at the London Stadium, which means he will need to be selective in the players he signs.
In light of this, it is somewhat expected to see Moyes scouting possible
free agents in front of the summer transfer window of 2019.
West Ham is rumored to be keeping an eye on Josh Brownhill, but the
East London team appears to be facing a significant issue at the moment.
This is due to the fact that it appears the former Manchester United academy
grad won’t be available for free next summer.

The Clarets have already exercised their option to extend Moyes’ current contract by a another year, which presents a significant challenge for the manager.
It’s obvious that Moyes loves the diligent central midfield player; in fact, he attempted to get him to play at London Stadium in the summer of 2022.
Brownhill is a reliable Premier League midfielder; you always know what to expect from him, even though he is by no means extraordinary.
He is undoubtedly a talented football player as well because he wouldn’t be a pillar of Vincent Kompany’s team.
Brownhill would be a great addition to the Scots’ team because, in theory, he is the ideal player for David Moyes’ system.
That being said, there is no chance that West Ham will sign the Burnley player for free the next summer.
