Man City are ‘interested to offer’for Milan starlet after failed past attempts.
According to sources from Italy, Manchester City is “ready” to submit an offer for Francesco Camarda, the Milan starlet.
When the 15-year-old came off the bench for Milan against Fiorentina, he made league history by becoming the youngest debutant ever. Camarda has thus found himself on the shortlist of several of the best clubs in Europe.
Camarda made a name for himself in the Milan youth setup, reportedly scoring over 400 goals in the academy ranks, and recently scoring a total of13 goals in the last 12 months playing for the Italy U15s, U16s, and U17s respectively.
And according to reports from Italian outlet Tuttosport, and translated by Sports Witness, Manchester City are one of the clubs keen on bringing Camarda on board in the coming transfer windows.
As per the reports, a host of European giants are ‘ready to offer important contracts’ to Camarda and his people. City are joined by Arsenal, Newcastle United, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund in keeping an eye on the youngster.
What’s more, Calciomercato has revealed that the Etihad outfit ‘seriously tried’ to sign Carmada in the past, but Milan were able to hold onto their academy gem.
Milan manager Stefano Pioli is said to have a fantastic relationship with the player and his entourage, and concrete talks over his future at the San Siro have reportedly already begun, with a supposed three-year contract extension sitting on the table for Camarda.
Nonetheless, Milan have shown a propensity to part ways with some of their young diamonds in recent seasons, with financial gains in mind.
It was only this past summer that Milan sold Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United, despite many reports suggesting he was keen on remaining in Milan. Interestingly, Tonali and Camarda share the same agent.
