Hibs and Rangers will square off in a huge clash in Scotland’s top-flight
The teams for Hibs and Rangers’ crucial Scottish Premiership match on Wednesday night have been revealed.
Hibs has struggled recently in the league, winning just one of their previous five top-flight games.
As a result, they are currently outside of the top five, and if they want to play in Europe for the second consecutive year, they will need to turn things
around. Rangers won’t be an easy opponent, but the Cabbage have defeated the Gers in the past and will enter this game with confidence.
For the visitors, they need a win to keep the pressure on Celtic in the title race. A loss to the Hoops just before the turn of the new year swung the
title race back in their Glaswegian neighbours’ favour, but their bid for silverware is by no means over – and the potential of a Treble will undoubtedly be in their minds.
Rangers have been plagued by injuries in recent weeks, which has left an octet out on the sidelines; most notably, Danilo, who is expected to be out for an extended period of time, and Ben Davies, a defender who is close to making a comeback.
