West Ham enter talks over deal which may lead to £3.5m man’s Rangers exit.

The Rangers’ Ridvan Yilmaz dilemma continues as Premier League team West Ham United is in talks to buy Bradley Locko from Stade Brestois.

Does he intend to or not? Is he departing or staying?

With one week left in the window, we are still no closer to providing an answer to a question that Rangers fans have been asking all winter long:

is Ridvan Yilmaz’s near future as uncertain as it was during the Christmas season?

Ridvan Yilmaz dilemma

Is Ridvan Yilmaz staying at Rangers?

The former Besiktas striker has surfaced as a potential replacement for Josh Doig, the new £5 million acquisition for Sassuolo, and a target for

Hellas Verona. However, according to rumors originating outside of Italy, the Serie A underdogs are now focusing on Ruben Vinagre, a left-back who previously played for Wolves and Everton but is currently with Sporting Lisbon.

Yet, in terms of Galatasaray, the opposite would be true if the likelihood of a January trade to Hellas Verona is declining.

particularly since West Ham United has begun negotiations to bring the highly-regarded Bradley Locko to London instead of Istanbul (Foot Mercato).

Turkey return still possible for Ibrox man

Locko, per Haber Turk, was Galatasaray’s number one left-back target. But after seeing a reported £3 million bid turned down by Brest – and with

West Ham now moving into pole position – Galatasaray could find themselves glancing further down the shopping list and launching a late assault on Yilmaz before the window closes next week.

Whether Rangers would be open to offers, at this stage of proceedings however, is another matter.

While Rangers’ hand has been pushed by their inability to sign a viable replacement, Philippe Clement seemed to imply on Friday that Yilmaz was

welcome to stay for a few more months. Owen Beck was passed over by Liverpool, Kai Wagner continued at Philadelphia Union, David Jurasek moved from Benfica to Hoffenheim, and the aforementioned Dougie is currently a player for Sassuolo.

“There haven’t been any discussions regarding Ridvan’s departure,” Clement stated. “We had individual conversations with each player at training camp. It was evident that Ridvan had a wonderful conversation since he performed later. So let’s wait and see.

“I am aware of the January transfer market. We’re going to make sure you’re ready for everything since it’s always special.

Indeed, it’s evident that Yilmaz has the proper mindset. Well, you may not have known me for that long, but in the most recent friendly matches, he would not have played against Hertha or Copenhagen if he wasn’t dedicated.

Therefore, no, he is dedicated to the club and whatever he must do here, including training. If not, (he) won’t ever step onto the field.
