Rangers agree £4.5million fee as Mohamed Diomande transfer update emerges

Rangers will pay £4.5million to sign FC Nordsjælland midfielder Mohamed Diomande, according to BT.

The deal will be the largest approved in the whole Superliga during this January transfer window, according to information published by the Danish source on their website on January 23.

There are rumors that the initial multi-million dollar payment may increase with further bonuses for Diomande, who is currently close to finalizing his transfer to Ibrox.

As the Ivorian midfielder approaches the last year of his contract, Rangers has emerged victorious in the race to sign him, beating out numerous other teams.

Completing it.

After returning from a training camp in the United States of America, Diomande only needs to sign a contract and finish his medical procedures before being made public.

Chris Jack shared on 22 January that his arrival into Glasgow has been delayed by Storm Isha, but the deal is still going ahead as expected

It is fantastic to see that Rangers are making prudent use of their financial resources during the January transfer window rather than blindly signing someone who might turn out to be a bad fit.

The purchase of Diomande is undoubtedly a departure from the club’s previous transfer plan, which Philippe Clement has acknowledged he is not the most happy with.

A young, developing player from one of the top teams in Europe will not only offer immediate relief but also significant upside potential, something that this present team sorely lacks.

I hope the storm clears up quickly so we can close this deal.
