Following the top-flight stoppage, both teams will now turn their attention to league affairs after competing in the Scottish Cup over the weekend.

After defeating Dumbarton 4-1, Rangers will take on Ayr United at Ibrox in the following round.

Prior to that, though, one of the two midweek games between St Johnstone and Aberdeen will see both teams return to the league for a night under the lights at Easter Road.

Hibs’ most recent Premier League match ended in a 2-2 draw with Motherwell; however, Nick Montgomery’s team has an opportunity to catch up to St Mirren in fifth place with four points from the Easter Road encounter.
