Real winner‘, ‘Good dribbler’: Rangers reportedly set to make another signing
Rangers have only made one signing so far this month with striker Fabio Silva arriving on loan from
Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Fans are keen to see more signings arrive before next week’s transfer deadline though and boss Philippe
Clement probably feels the same way.
Danish newspaper BT now report that Nordsjaelland have agreed to sell midfielder Mohamed Diomande
to Rangers.
It’s unclear just how much Rangers are paying to land Diomande, but let’s dig into his career as he
prepares to move to Ibrox…
Mohamed Diomande, the story so far Diomande hails from the Ivory Coast but came through the Right
to Dream academy in Ghana, which has strong ties to Danish side Nordsjaelland.
The likes of Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana have made that exact same move, making
Nordsjaelland big money.
Diomande was handed a professional debut in February 2020 and hasn’t looked back, racking up 111
appearances for Nordsjaelland.
The 22-year-old has predominantly played as a central midfielder or number 10, bagging 13 goals and 14
assists in Denmark.
Diomande is yet to land a senior cap for the Ivory Coast but has earned an Under-23 cap and will be
looking for those senior caps after moving to Rangers.
